Belt sizing:

belt-length-1.jpg

It is VERY important to properly measure your waist prior to ordering to ensure that the correct belt size is ordered.  The best way to measure is to take the belt you currently use, lay it out straight on a flat surface, and measure from the end of the buckle to the hole you normally use.  The image above shows an example.  If you plan on carrying inside the waistband, I recommend putting your carry gear on and measuring to the hole that fits best.  If you don't have carry gear available you may want to consider adding 1-2" to the overall length.  For odd measurements round up to the nearest whole size.  For example, if you measure a 39.5" you should order a 40" belt.

If you don't have a belt available the best way for to measure is to take a cloth measuring tape, lace it through the belt loops of a good fitting pair of pants, and notate the measurement where the ends meet.

About the buckle:

The premium buckle I use is unique in that it functions and attaches similar to a cowboy trophy buckly, yet has the appearance of a standard buckle.  It is very secure and helps prolong the life of the belt since you don't have to crank or torque the tongue of the belt at an odd angle to fasten the buckle to get it through the keeper.  You just slip the end of the belt through the buckle and keeper, pick the best fitting hole, insert the post, and make sure the post locks in under the belt.  The post is curved rearward so it will help keep the buckle locked in to belt.  This design also allows the belt to lay flatter and, in my opionion, is more comfortable than a standard or trophy buckle.

  1. Awesome belt... 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Jun 2014

I have had this belt for over a year and it still maintains its rigidity.

A few scuff marks here and there due to excessive use and practicing one handed manipulations but it still functions as when it first came.

The belt design is awesome and its very easy to take off and put on.

I use this with Mr. K's kydex IWB and its a perfect combination.

Highly recommend his gear, and if you're gonna complain about the wait-time just remember it takes time to build a quality product and that's exactly what Mr. Kolbeson offers.
